Peel (PURT NY HINSHEY) Fire Station is located in Heathfield Drive, Peel and is manned by part time retained personnel, which consist of one Station Officer, one Sub-Officer, two Leading Firefighters and eleven Firefighters, who respond to their fire station at any time of the day or night when their fire service pagers are operated.  Peel Station has two pumping appliances which consists of one Water Tender Ladder Appliance call sign 5:1 and the other appliance is a Pinzgauer Six Wheel Drive Vehicle call sign 5:3.  This vehicle is a necessity for Peel because like other stations on the Isle of Man there are large sections of hilly terrain and inaccessible locations where rigid road fire appliances would not access.
