NEW COMMUNITY FIRE SAFETY DEMONSTRATION VEHICLE

On the 18th July 2003 the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service took delivery of a new Community Fire Safety Demonstration vehicle, the main purpose of the vehicle is to highlight the extreme dangers of Chip Pan Fires and to highlight the Do's and Dont's of a burning Chip Pan Fire.  Please see this page for further info on Chip Pan fires.

Mr Quintin Gill MHK centre left and Hon. Mr Phil Braidwood MHK, Minister of Home Affairs, centre right with all of the Community Fire Safety Demonstration vehicle design team.

The new livery on this Fire Safety Department vehicle will ensure that wherever it is, it will be seen!  Some of the new signage includes the famous saying of "Get Out - Stay Out - Call the Fire Brigade Out" and "Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives" and of course a vital link to the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service website - www.iomfire.com
