Volvo FL E 250bhp engine with Allison World series gearbox , fitted with Palfinger 16502 crane with hydraulic forks all remotely controlled. Carries 5000 Litres of Niagara foam compound @ 3% and 1000 Litres of Expandol @ 3%. Foam is made via skids mounted on the IBC containers, the vehicle has 2 skids each fitted with 4 x 450LPM Angus unductors. the Niagara skids have the capability of producing in total 3600LPM of foam which can be delivered by hand branches or Akron Apollo monitors. The Expandol skid has 2 x 225LPM inductors to feed either the hand branches or Turbex unit. The vehicle was built by Lancashire Tippers and Saxon and incorporates the latest environmental devices , the engine is Euro3 and it is fitted with a Lubrizol Purifilter which will clean exhaust emissions to that of a fraction of that produced by a standard saloon car.
