Station, is situated on Peel Road, and the station
houses seven fire appliances namely :-

There are four watches at Douglas Station,
Green
Watch, Red
Watch, White
Watch and Blue Watch
with each watch consisting of one Sub-Officer, one
Leading Firefighter and seven Firefighters. Douglas
Station also has ten part-time Retained Firefighters. The
station is also the base for the Transport Department who
are responsible for the maintenance of the Fire Service
fleet of vehicles, and it is also the base for the Training and
Operational Support Department and this Department supports a
wide variety of roles including Training, Health and Safety,
Communications etc etc.
Douglas Station
also has three specialist rescue teams, click on them to see what

(rope) Rescue Team
- Water Rescue Team
The above
specialist teams can be called to an incident at any time
of the day or night and anywhere on the Island.
